When and where:

Visiting a new church can be overwhelming

We understand the many thoughts that can come from visiting a new church, so we want you to feel completely comfortable when you visit.

What to expect:

Often we’ll go through whole books of the Bible, verse by verse, or a sermon series on a relevant topic. The sermon usually lasts about 35-45 minutes. If you want to hear a sample of the preaching before you come, all of our sermons are available online! 

 

We have an amazing community of musicians and singers who give their best every weekend to make our worship experiences musically and spiritually amazing. It's all for one purpose—to experience God through our times of worship.

Where do my kids go?

Our Children’s Ministry is much more than “childcare”.

We intentionally structure our children’s ministry to help children learn the Bible and how it relates to Jesus in an age-appropriate way. The lessons are fun and approachable and taught by committed volunteers and staff who serve Jesus by serving you and your kids.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

If You are a first-time Guest:

One of our team members will be happy to escort you to the appropriate room for your child, you’ll be greeted by a Kids Ministry volunteer or staff member who will help you register your children.

 

Our children’s ministry is broken up into the following ages:

Sunday Mornings

• Nursery: 4 months – 2 years 

• Preschool: 3-4 years old

• Kindergarten: 5-6 years old 

• Kidz G.A.N.G.: 7-10 years old 

 

Thursday Nights:

• Boys - Royal Rangers

• Girls - Missionettes

 

Where should I park?

When you enter the church parking lot, someone from our Guest Service Team will be directing traffic. Please ask for assistance from a member of our parking team, if you need help knowing where to park. We try to structure parking in a way that allows the maximum amount of people to attend our services.

 

What Should I Wear?

We want you to feel comfortable. We want you to be more focused on the service than what you're wearing. Some prefer to still put on their "Sunday best," and that's fine too! We think you'll fit in no matter how you dress.

 

Am I expected to put money in the offering?

If you're visiting with us for the first time, we don't expect you to put money in the offering. If you decide to consider VOSR your church home, we'd love for you to prayerfully consider giving. We have many ways to give including cash or card at services, by text, or you can set up an online giving account.
